Had a pre-purchase inspection done on a 2006 Subaru outback. Despite the dealer having told us that "all recommended service had been done, and the tires rotated, Precision found the following: All tires needed to be replaced due to large gouge in the treadBoth front axles needed to be replaced as boots were torn open & dried grease everywhere. They had been driven dry too long and needed replacing.The battery checked at 30%.It needed a tune up.While the car was otherwise ok, but the dealer appears to have lied both to us and to Carfax about previous work done on the car and would not negotiate on an already high price. The extra repair costs put it out of the question. In the end, a 9yo car with a top Blue book price of 12k would have cost 16.5k. If the tires had really been rotated, the unsafe condition would have been seen, and definitely the ripped CVC boots and grease. The best money we ever spent was with Precision for the inspection.

These guys are honest in their assessments and accurate in there work. Very clean and processional shop and fair prices. Glad I found them.
